Sam Ringel

Sam, a junior at Marlboro High School, has always been passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).  He is committed to serving his community and is a regular volunteer at various STEM-related events.  He spends his high school summers working as a volunteer teaching assistant and event planner for a non-profit STEM camp that serves underprivileged youth and was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award (Gold) for his commitment to the camp.  Sam regularly volunteers after school at several science organizations aimed at educating students from elementary school through high school about STEM.  Recognizing the need for educating seniors to bridge the generational gap, Sam is bringing TST to senior citizens in New Jersey.  Through TST, Sam’s goal is to provide free classroom instruction for every senior in the state on basic computer operations, social networking and other functions to improve their technological capabilities.  In his free time, Sam enjoys spending time at the Jersey shore, fishing, cooking and skiing.
